Come Home to a Goings Home

Goings Homes, which previously operated as Goings Custom Homes and Goings Value Homes, was founded by Mike Goings in 1993. Goings Homes is now owned and operated by James and Tyley Lamb and since 2011 they have continued on the tradition that has built Goings Homes into what it is today.  They have four children and spend all their non-home building hours trying to survive three boys ages 4, 2 and 1 whose mission in life is to annoy their ten year old sister.  Goings Homes home office is located in the front of their personal home and share their family with all those who trust them to build their dream homes.

Jamie joined Goings Homes in 2012.   Born and raised in Nebraska he graduated  the construction program at SCC Milford. Growing up on a farm he's been in construction since age 14. He has experience in every aspect of construction from framing to drafting/design.  His goal is to help facilitate the construction of people’s dream homes. He met Stephanie in grade school before moving away and attending Centennial High School in Utica, NE.  They met again at UNL and were married in June of 2013. Stephanie graduated from UNL and is currently studying to become a dentist at UNMC College of Dentistry.  In their spare time, they like to travel, play with their dogs, and spend time with their families and friends.

Chad comes to Goings Homes with over 20 years of carpentry experience.  He has experience in all facets of construction from framing homes to the final finish carpentry.  He is an integral part in moving peoples dreams and pictures into a reality in their dream home.  If you can show him a picture or explain it he can create anything.  In his free time he enjoys pitching horseshoes, camping with his family, playing guitar and co-leading a youth development program at his church (similar to Boy Scouts).
